We don’t usually do standalone posts about bridal style, but this inimitably elegant Donatelle Godart wedding dress was too glorious not to highlight. Sophie and Luke were married at Clapton Country Club in December just before Christmas (our final wedding of 2019) and the bride’s super-duper-chic Donatelle Godart wedding dress, teamed with her mother’s vintage veil, just about made our decade. The whole day was pretty brilliant: the snow confetti, the groom in blue velvet, the giant disco ball, the guests lounging on chaises longues, the George Michael tribute act, lashings of Le Labo, the Bermuda pink Loeffler Randall wedding shoes, etc. Plus it was my first non-pregnant shoot for what felt like a billion years (Nico turned six weeks the next day).

We’re mid-way through editing this one at the moment, and an utterly charming American engagement shoot in Mayfair too, but check back at some point in the new year to see the rest: it’s the coolest Christmas wedding East London’s ever seen.
