P & T in Marylebone

A casual city elopement
If you’re Australians living in London, how do you include your families back home in your elopement? Get married first thing in the morning.
P and T, with two friends in tow to serve as witnesses, were the first newlyweds of the day at the Old Marylebone Town Hall. We met on the steps in the sunshine, before heading in to set up their globe-spanning livestream and make it official.
In Australia, ten hours in the future, night was falling and their virtual guests were in full party mode, dressed up and toasting and eating cake. Meanwhile, back in Marylebone, it was barely time for brunch.
Post ceremony, the newlyweds and their witnesses set off to their favourite café to sip espresso and soak up the city sun. (P and T allowed a full hour for their portrait stroll, ending at the coffee shop, which is a perfect plan for a casual city elopement if you’d like to make the most of Marylebone’s picturesque streets.)
