Isabel & Matt at The Charterhouse

A charterhouse wedding, Clerkenwell

Isabel and Matt spent their wedding day at a host of truly first-rate locations: the maximalist Zetter for the morning, the serene Charterhouse for the ceremony, Isabel’s gorgeous family home for the reception… and a secret jazz club beneath a church for the afterparty.

Isabel and her best girls, resplendent in shades of red and pink, got ready at the Zetter in Clerkenwell, which has long been one of our favourite spots. And then, she strolled over to meet Matt and get married at The Charterhouse.

After post-ceremony Champagne in the Charterhouse’s peaceful grounds, we all headed back to Isabel’s parents’ beautiful home for a reception in the wonderland of a garden.

And then, once Isabel had slipped out of her Galvan wedding dress and into a Clio Peppiatt mini, the entire crowd trooped off to the surprise church-crypt afterparty, led through the dark streets by glowstick-wielding ushers.
