Tamsyn & Rory in Notting Hill

A curly-haired American girl and a floppy-haired Englishman in Notting Hill, except this time it’s real life.

Tamsyn and Rory are an Anglo-American pair, like us. (We work with SO many Euro-American couples; is it because they can subconciously sense our awareness of visa paperwork and know we’re allies? Or does my wonky Essex-Californian accent just make them feel at home?)

Anyway, they’re getting married next spring, so we got together for a stroll around their London neighbourhood.

Notting Hill just before sunset’s extra pretty, and it’s easy to dodge the tourists when you’re locals. We stopped by Tamsyn and Rory’s favourite local restaurant, Dorian, for a glass of wine, and took waaaay too many pictures of their dreamboat of a dog, Loki. (NB wedding-planning couples: please, please, please do bring your pets to your engagement shoot. It’s really fun.)
